THE LADIES CONTEST!!!

I know everyone has been anxiously awaiting the start of my January contest. Most times my contests are the very beginning of the month, but this one is going to be so awesome and so amazing that it will double as the January and February contest. (March will be back to normal!)

Down to business. I will be posting the rules one more time with the pictures, and you guys have at it. Remember, I will be monitoring the contest so please play nice and honest! Make sure to give some love to Bobby.D Makeup and Three Muses Clothing who are very nice and generous (and excited) to offer their services for this contest!! Ok, here goes....

What you win. If you win you will get the choice of either a boudoir or couples session including hair and makeup done by Bobbi D Makeup and 20% off of a one time purchase from Three Muses Clothing in Jacksonville Florida or on their website. This will include the makeup and hair, as well as all of the photos loaded on a disc for you to keep and use, and if you chose to order prints you will get 50% off the cost of the prints. ( 1- 8x10, 2-5x7's and 5-4x6's for a total of $5.00 with the discount already included)


Ok, after much confusion and deliberation I have decided that to vote for your favorite picture/person, just click on the links below and "Like" each page, then comment "Poppysmic Photography sent me and I am voting for picture #_" We will keep track of the number of times each name is commented on each fan page and write them on a piece of paper and pick them out of a hat. (So, each time the name is posted is a separate paper in the hat, so the more people who post mens the greater chance for you to win) Show the vendors some love and have your friends vote. Each person is only allowed to comment one each page one time per number. If someone wants to vote for multiple people, that is fine, but only put the number one time per page per person. Make sense! Here are some past contest winners...

The shoot that changed it all....

I did this shoot for a friend and her husband for their one year anniversary. The time was 4:45pm and we used a private field near my house. Before this shoot I didn't know what I wanted to focus on, walking away from this I KNEW I wanted to be a fashion photographer. Jessica Frank and I have known each other since high school, the days when she was a fellow Jessica P like me. She works for a talent agency that also has a modeling school so I knew she would be able to strut her stuff. Her husby, Anthony, or Frank as everyone knows him, was in the military and tried very hard to play the tough guy role. Not five minutes into the shoot was he twirling his beautiful wife in circles and it was then I knew I LOVED working with adults and models who are trained in posing and acting in front of a camera. My favorite kind of shoot is one where you could be advertising anything, and when you look at these pictures I feel like you can truly put anything on it as an ad. They were so much fun to work with and had me laughing the entire time.
